If you know me personally you are probably shocked and I don't blame you, I have never been this person to see dangers, death and apocalypse everywhere (ok, at least when it comes to flying) so it was a big surprise to me as well. How did it happen?
Well, exactly a year ago I was going home for Christmas, straight after two morning shifts at work. My plane tried to land twice. No one told us what was going on and people sitting next me were PRAYING, that's how terrifying experience that was. I landed somewhere else which was not that big of a deal but the feeling of being trapped on a plane going God knows why was definitely something. Then, a month after that, my wallet got stolen on my way to the airport and I experienced my first ever panic attack. Oh, and we were setting off in a middle of a snowstorm and if you lived in Britain for more than a week you probably know how British transport works when even one snowflake falls on the ground.
So yeah, I am basically freezing when thinking of waking up at 4AM tomorrow, getting a taxi, getting a coach and going through security. If you have any tips for that that do not involve being drunk or half-conscious, please help me.
Enough with being silly. Here they are - some of my favourite things this month.
Ok, maybe that's not a "thing" but here's the view from my window today. I already miss my street and my building full of old people :(.
I was trying to find my boyfriend a perfect Christmas jumper when I saw this beauty - it's real leather, was 50% off and that was the day I found out that I pretty much nailed my Final Major Project proposal. Oh, well.
This is my crack. Spiced winter red tea by Teapig tastes like Christmas in a mug. Think mulled wine and oranges.
My favourite cafe included in The 2013 London Coffee Guide!
